Criminey... I haven't updated for 2 months!?
well, lessee... had an OK Holiday... played NYE with LTH...played an Inaugural night party with Eric, and a couple of January gigs with the Youngers, after one of which my Dodge Caravan fuel pump gave up the ghost 3 hours from home... so I'm vehicle shopping. Which for me is a challenge... trying to pry myself into even some smaller SUV type vehicles is like putting on a wetsuit. So criteria like gas mileage and equipment capacity take a back seat to "does Daddy fit in the dern thing?"
Did some overdubs on some in-the-can LTH stuff with Eric kibitzing and Jared presiding over the ProTools rig... the man is an artist with the keyboard shortcuts, manipulating the data with reckless abandon, with the mos' accurate punch-in finger ever I see.
Got a date comin' up with Eric & Peter Cooper- I think it's a short set in a multiple act night at a venue called Puck, about 10 minutes from my house (huzzah! most LTH gigs average 3+ hours from me) Thursday 2-12-09 http://www.pucklive.com/html/calendars.php
